Terms &
Conditions.
These terms outline our standard conditions for quotations, material supply, payment, delivery, customer responsibilities and trade orders.
1. Scope of Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to all quotations, orders and supply of materials by Cladding Australia Suppliers. By requesting a quote, placing an order or issuing a purchase order, the customer agrees to these terms unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Quotations & Pricing
Quotations are provided based on the information available at the time of quoting, including material type, thickness, quantity, location and freight requirements.
Due to changes in material costs, exchange rates, availability and freight, quoted prices are valid only for the period stated on the quote. If no period is stated, quotes are valid for 14 days. Prices are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
3. Orders & Availability
Stock availability is subject to change until an order is confirmed and payment requirements are met. Manufacturer order items may be subject to minimum order quantities, production lead times and supplier availability.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be stated on the quotation or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment must be received before materials are released, dispatched or ordered from a manufacturer.
Ownership of goods remains with Cladding Australia Suppliers until full payment has been received.
5. Delivery & Freight
Delivery dates, freight estimates and lead times are provided as estimates only. We are not responsible for delays caused by transport providers, supplier delays, customs, weather, site access issues or events outside our reasonable control.
The customer is responsible for ensuring safe and suitable access for unloading, handling and storage of materials at the delivery location.
6. Inspection & Claims
Customers must inspect all materials upon delivery or collection. Any claim for damage, shortage or incorrect supply must be made in writing within 48 hours of receipt.
Claims may not be accepted once materials have been cut, fabricated, installed, altered or used.
7. Product Information & Suitability
Product information, technical data and general guidance are provided to assist customers with product selection. The customer remains responsible for confirming that the selected material is suitable for the intended use, project conditions and applicable requirements.
Final design, engineering, compliance and installation decisions remain the responsibility of the customer, builder, designer, engineer, architect or relevant project professional.
8. Weathering Steel
Weathering steel performance depends on environment, detailing, drainage, exposure, maintenance and material thickness. It may not be suitable for all locations, including certain coastal, marine, constantly wet or poorly drained environments.
Customers should seek project-specific advice before using weathering steel in sensitive or high-risk applications.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the replacement of goods, repair of goods or refund of the purchase price. We are not liable for consequential loss, loss of profit, project delays, removal costs, installation costs or other indirect losses.
